Advanced Facilities for Avian Research (AFAR)
Goal: $1,470,000
Support this unique facility for interdisciplinary study of wild birds in controlled environmental conditions. Enables unparalleled research capacity in avian biology that is not available anywhere else in the world. Research discoveries could have an impact on conservation, ecosystem health, and human health. Every dollar donated to this project will leverage an additional four dollars from the Canada Foundation for Innovation. Your gift will help Western support environmental management and a sustainable future.
